FOUNDATION HISTORY

 

The Declaration of Trust of the KLAUDT INDIAN MEMORIAL FOUNDATION was instituted on March 16, 2001. in Dekalb County Georgia.

In March of 2002 the IRS stated the Foundation would be exempt from Federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and the foundation would be treated as a public charity during an advance ruling period and was given an EIN #.

The ”Klaudt Indian Memorial Foundation” had its Organizational Meeting on May 17th @ 10:00 AM 2003 at the Windgate Hotel in Buford Georgia.

On May 31, 2006 the Foundation received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service stating that we have gone through the advance ruling period and confirming our status as a public charity under 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Foundation is in good standing having filed their Form 990-N E-filing Annually and receiving confirmation of year 2016 Form 990-N E-filing on May 8, 2017
